這組插畫的靈感源自於《房思琪的初戀樂園》，一部關於性侵、權力與創傷，並深刻呼應亞洲 #MeToo 運動的小說。兩幅插畫從最初的柔和與曖昧逐漸轉向壓抑與毀滅，以同一個場景的不同時間與氛圍的變化來講述這個披著「初戀」外衣實則是充滿欺騙、暴力與精神謀殺的故事。不直接表達暴力的過程，蝴蝶、金魚、火焰、白紗與中式座椅等象徵元素隱喻從信任、親密與愛的幻象，逐漸轉向脅迫、沉默與創傷的過程。

These two illustrations are inspired by Fang Si-Chi’s First Love Paradise, a novel about sexual violence, power, and trauma that is closely connected to #MeToo discussions across Asia. Moving from softness and ambiguity to oppression and destruction, the two works revisit the same scene at different moments and in shifting atmospheres to tell a story disguised as “first love,” but rooted in deception, violence, and psychological destruction. Rather than depicting the violence directly, symbolic elements such as butterflies, goldfish, fire, white veil, and Chinese-style chairs trace a gradual shift from trust, intimacy, and the illusion of love to coercion, silence, and trauma.
