“Dark Harmony” draws inspiration from the events at Chernobyl, including the discovery of black fungi that absorb radiation and black-skinned frogs adapted to radioactive environments and Russian drone strike. The artwork features enormous fungi breaking through a concrete tomb, surrounded by a paradise of black flora and fauna, symbolizing spirituality and nature’s resilience.
These creatures embody varying shades of black, representing the unknown and potential. While they seem dark, this darkness contains hope and life. The piece envisions a future where humans return to an evolved landscape, reflecting on the adaptability of life in harsh conditions and critiquing human industrial and wartime activities.
