台灣歷史記載的文明僅有四百年，高山深處千年巨木的存在讓人難以想像也令人敬畏。它們靜靜佇立，見證著歲月的流轉，蘊藏著古老而深遠的生命力。在這組作品中，我以紅檜與玉山圓柏為靈感，將其姿態簡化、轉化，再以天使的形象賦予它們精神性的象徵。

Taiwan’s recorded history spans only about 400 years, yet ancient giant trees have stood in its high mountains for millennia, evoking awe and reverence. They quietly witness the passing of time, embodying a profound, enduring vitality. Inspired by Taiwan red cypress and juniper, I simplified and transformed their forms, infusing them with symbolic spirituality through angelic imagery.
