The Life That Passes by My Side
by Ricardo Macia | Colombia
這幅插畫作為《The Life That Passes by My Side》情感核心的視覺隱喻而誕生。
This illustration emerges as a visual metaphor for the emotional core of The Life That Passes by My Side. At its center, an anatomical heart becomes symbolic territory: not merely an organ, but a living archive of memory and the origin of every story contained in the book. Surrounding it, two birds stand as quiet witnesses and guardians—embodying the passage of time, contemplation, and the continuity of life. The flowers and dense vegetation that envelop the heart do not function as ornament, but as an organic extension of memory itself. Each petal, each leaf, and every meticulously drawn line suggests layers of experience, affection, journeys, and farewells intertwined without hierarchy, much like life unfolds in reality.
