This series of illustrations based on Chinese mid-Tang Dynasty poet Li He and his poem “Ku Zhou Duan (Lament for the Shortness for the Day)”. Li He’s life is short but make a deep impression on people. Although he is super talented, because of the politics, he can’t give full to play his talents. This series of illustrations main focus on his strong depressed emotion and incredible imagination, and translate them to unique visual language.
