這件作品始於一個簡單的問句：是什麼帶給人們笑容？透過街頭訪問，我搜集大家日常中微小、卻能讓人會心一笑的時刻。這些時刻可以是有趣的、幸福的，甚至是平淡的；我相信不一定要處於快樂的狀態，才能發自內心的微笑。

我希望分享更多這些帶來微笑的瞬間，並將這些記憶透過偶動畫轉化成一個會動的檔案庫。這個作品的名稱源於「偷看」的概念，有時候我們並不是不想感到快樂，而是缺少靈感與契機。我希望透過呈現每個人的答案，讓觀眾能像「偷看」一樣閱讀他人的日常，並因此對生活產生好奇，也許也能因此不自覺地展露微笑！

The project began with a simple question: “What makes people smile?” Through street interviews, I collected small moments that bring a smile to people’s faces and transformed them into a stop-motion archive. The title Reference Answer comes from the idea of borrowing other people’s answers as gentle references, reminding us that happiness can appear in many different forms. Using stop motion allowed me to create a world that feels both tangible and slightly magical, blending reality with imagination.

This film is not meant to fix sadness, but to spark curiosity and appreciation for the quiet, everyday details of life. I hope everyone who sees this work can enjoy it, and maybe take a moment to ask themselves: What makes you smile?
