Letters of Hope is a 36-page first-person picture book written by Yu-I Kuo. The story is a compilation of the diaries of a young girl looking for her missing friend in 20th-century Taiwan. Informed by the White Terror period in Taiwan, I aim to create a nostalgic and delicate mood through atmospheric illustrations.
