David Curtis is an Award-Winning Illustrator and Book Designer currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up on the Jersey Shore, he was drawn to Surfing and Skateboard art and carried that aesthetic into his work with his use of bright colors and psychedelic abstract forms.

Concurrently, he works at HarperCollins Children’s Books, where he designs and art directs book covers for Young Adult and Middle-Grade readers.

David’s clients and collaborators include Paramount Pictures, NASA, Wizards of the Coast, Legendary Comics, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Tor Books, Amazon, Macmillan, and Discover Magazine, among others.
