此作靈感源自於過去七年在多間國際企業擔任商業經營職務的經驗觀察。形容職場環境中，鮮少有人如實表達實際狀況，因生存需求必須妥協於企業的隱性文化，以包裹糖衣的方式進行溝通。佩戴鑽石戒指的手譬喻擁有更高權力及資本更加雄厚的一方，而另一方則需妥協配合；繽紛多彩代表多元差異性，人人皆有各自的文化背景及人生故事。

My 7-years’ experience in business-oriented roles within several international corporations inspired me to create this comic-style illustration. It describes the culture that people tend to sugarcoat the truth in the workplace. The hand with a diamond ring is a metaphor for capitalism, and the colorful sugar-coated people represent the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and stories of the employees.
